September at Titanik was a time for reflection and renewal in my practice. Throughout the month, I dedicated myself to studio time, learning and researching new synthesizers, while also recording and exploring the sounds of the city, the archipelago, and my own voice during daily walks along different paths.
I was fortunate to reconnect with both new and old friends in Helsinki during my performance at Äänen Lumo. Many thanks to Forces, Kati Roover, and J. Koho for their beautiful performances. The show gave me an opportunity to test some of the recordings and concepts I developed at Titanik, which I plan to continue refining for a future composition.
I look forward to the next time I can collaborate and create with artists in Turku, Helsinki, and beyond.
