Norie Neumark is an artist working with sound/media in installation, performance and radio—collaborating with Maria Miranda as out-of-sync (www.out-of-sync.com). Her 2017 monograph is Voicetracks: Attuning to Voice in Media and the Arts (MIT Press). She is Honorary Professorial Fellow at VCA, Melbourne University and Emeritus Professor, La Trobe University. She is founding editor, Unlikely: Journal for Creative Arts.

Keskustelu rakentuu Nelimarkan viimeaikaisen työskentelyn ympärille, jossa hän tutkii ilmakehän ilmiöitä, joiden vaikutus ilmastoon on suuri, mutta osittain tuntematon ja ennustamaton.

The #ClimateTender project by Titanik and B-galleria continues on Friday 12th of April at Titanik, where we’ll host a discussion with artist Josefina Nelimarkka. The talk will focus on Nelimarkka’s recent research on atmospheric phenomena, which hold a huge impact on the climate, yet of which we do not know all that much about. -

When sitting on a bus seat with a foreign warmth to it, the feeling is somewhat unpleasant. How many bus stops must we pass until it becomes my own warmth. As I rise, I leave it for the next person. These are my thoughts.
